2-core power xlpe insulated power cable are usually used in power transmission and distribution systems. The 2-core XLPE cable is called IEC60502 CU / XLPE / PVC 0.6 / 1KV. Round conductors are suitable for sizes below 16mm², and shaped conductors are suitable for sizes above 35mm² (including 35mm²). We can also provide XLPE insulated two-core power cables according to BS7889.

The two-core cable is only composed of live wire and neutral wire and is suitable for “Class II equipment” (no grounding).

Use Function

The long-term working conductor allows the maximum operating temperature of 90oC. In short circuit (long-term maximum value does not exceed 5 seconds). The maximum temperature of the conductor does not exceed 250.

The impedance of the conductor meets the requirements of GB/T3956-1997.

When laying, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 0. Otherwise, it should be preheated. There is no horizontal fall restriction when laying cables. The minimum bending radius of the three-core cable should be 12 times the outer diameter of the cable.

Partial discharge test: The discharge capacity of the cable should not exceed 10pC and less than 1.73Uo.
