Automobile Wiring Harness

Automobile Wiring Harness
Automotive wiring harness, also known as low voltage wires, are mostly made of copper multi-core cords. Unlike the copper single-core cords of household wires, some cords are very thin and soft and not easy to break. As the main network architecture of automobile circuits, automobile wiring harnesses are mainly used to connect various parts of automobile circuits. They are generally composed of wires, connectors, protective sleeves and positioning parts, which play the role of supplying power and transmitting signals.

Features
Due to the particularity of automotive circuits, automotive wiring harnesses are more stringent than ordinary wiring harnesses, especially when it comes to directional control systems and braking systems. Compared with traditional wiring harnesses, automotive wiring harnesses have advantages:
1. High electrical performance. The wiring harness related to the direction control and braking system needs high transmission performance to ensure safety;
2. Material dissemination, it is necessary to ensure the reliability of the link circuit and prevent the electromagnetic interference of the surrounding circuit, and eliminate the short circuit problem;
3. Temperature resistance, changes in the working environment temperature can not affect the electrical performance, and the reliability within the temperature range needs to be guaranteed
Automotive wiring harness category
There are many types of automobile wiring harnesses, and the classification basis is also different, but there are mainly the following:
Main wiring harness and small wiring harness: The main wiring harness includes engine wiring harness, central wiring box wiring harness, instrument panel wiring harness, cockpit wiring harness, etc.; the small wiring harness includes door wiring harness, battery wiring harness, ABS brake wiring harness, etc.
High-voltage wiring harness and low-voltage wiring harness: The biggest feature of high-voltage wiring harness is high voltage and small current, and high insulation performance requirements, so the insulation layer is often thicker and the core wire is relatively thin. Low-voltage wiring harnesses are mainly used for circuit transmission and connection of other small components.
