Bare Conductor

Bare Conductor
Bare conductor are made of metal materials such as copper, aluminum, steel, etc., into wire, ribbon, and flat cable conductors. Divided into three categories: round wire, profile wire and soft wiring. Round wires include round copper wires, round aluminum wires, tinned round copper wires, non-magnetic round copper wires, aluminum alloy wires, copper-clad steel round wires, silver-plated round copper wires and aluminum-clad steel core wires, etc. They are mainly used for Conductive cores of wires and cables. There are copper tram lines, steel-aluminum tram wires, aluminum alloy tram wires, flat rubidium I wires, aluminum wires, copper bus bars, aluminum bus bars, copper strips, hollow flat copper wires, hollow flat aluminum wires and trapezoidal copper bars, etc. , Mainly used for overhead lines, coils or windings of motors and electrical appliances, bus bars, DC motor commutator slices, etc. Flexible wiring includes copper brush wire, copper antenna, copper soft stranded wire and copper braided wire, which are mainly used for brush and battery connection wire, communication overhead antenna, lead wire, ground wire, and connection wire.

Application of bare conductor
1. Provide 120-volt aerial services for temporary services for construction sites, outdoor or street lighting. Service is provided at 600 volts or lower when the conductor temperature is up to 75°C.
2 Supply electricity from the utility line to the consumer’s weather equipment. At a conductor temperature of 75°C, use at 600 volts or less (phase-to-phase) for polyethylene insulation up to 90°C, for cross-linked insulation.
3. Used to provide 3-phase power (usually install transformer from pole) to users connected to service entrance
Service head. Used when the phase-to-phase voltage of 600 volts or less and the conductor temperature does not exceed 75°C, used for polyethylene insulation of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors up to 90°C
